Concerns

long story short, on wednesday i will be departing to oxford united kingdom to participate in an urban design research laboratory workshop in which i will be joining 19 other architecture students in uitm shah alam, all from various semesters.

the aim of the workshop is to create an urban intervention in oxford, as well as getting the chance to learn and attend lectures from professors in oxford brookes university.

this is truly a once in a lifetime chance, and to be chosen amongst many that applied is already a bless. the work load is heavy, since i'll be doing a project that is years ahead of my level, supposedly the masters level, and to keep up with all the brains in the group is already a challenge, whatmore to equip myself with all the possibilities in urban design in just a short period of time.

within this one month, i'll be touring UK and Europe (amsterdam-berlin-paris) in such a tight budget and within limited time.

this experience has already increased my level of maturity and i hope to use this oppourtunity to be as loud, as helpful and useful, and as creative and independent as possible.

i shall come home a different man.

yes, that is to be more tanned.

what do you expect..?? it's summer and i'll be spending 80% of my time outside. how can i ever avoid being sunburnt..??

and to my concern, i might not have the time or even money to go watch Harry Potter on time. i have already accepted the fate that i'll be witnessing the end of the era once i get back in malaysia, and i'll make sure that it shall be GOLD CLASS.

and of course, there's other less important concerns like not having enough money, not having a place to stay, rushing towards train stations and airports, getting my design ideas rejected, not having enough clothes, not having time to eat, missing things, missing the bus, getting dehydrated bla bla bla.
